This year we ran BE 100, Novice, Open Novice, Intermediate, Open Intermediate sections and an International CIC**, allowing riders an early opportunity to qualify their horses.

This year we had every type of weather from sun shine to snow! It did not stop the competitors with Paul Tapner winning the CIC**. Old friends had good results with Mark Todd winning the Open Novice, while Mary King and Louisa Lockwood won the Intermediate sections. Local riders, Jo Rimmer and Kirsty Johnston did well with a first and second.
As
in previous years we are the opening fixture for the
Mitsubishi Motors Stately Homes Challenge. This unique
competition allows riders of Intermediate horses to accumulate
points in an attempt to win a cash prize of £5000.
The other venues for the series are Longleat, Wilton and Highclere Castle, all of which are
run in the grounds of some of Englands most maginificent
stately homes - full details of this prestigious series,
rules, prizes and fixtures can be found at: www.statelyhomeschallenge.co.uk
We were delighted that Savills supported Somerley again and grateful to all our generous sponsors.
